What we do
Judge Electrical Solutions undertake visual checks and electrical testing in order to accurately asses the condition of the installation in respect of: safety, wear & tear, corrosion, damage and deterioration, excessive loading, age, external influences and suitability.
Visual checks include the inspection of lights, lighting fixtures / fittings and sockets in order to check for damage or deterioration. A visual inspection and condition check of the fuse box and electrical installations (looking at wiring and earthing) to determine condition and compliance with safety regulations.
Electrical tests, which involves introducing an electrical current into a circuit in order to measure the resistance of the earthing and insulation of the wiring. Trip switch specifications and wiring polarity checks are also done.
Report & Certificate
Following successful testing and inspection, we will issue an iCertifi Electrical Certificate. This confirms that the electrical installation work to which it relates to has been designed, inspected and tested by an approved contractor and meets all safety regulations and to the standards laid down in the Current Regulations of BS 7671:2018.
If faults are found, we can provide a full report on any electrical installation deemed to be unsafe (or that has deteriorated to an extent to cause defects) and run through all issues found.
